Wesak is the celebration of Buddha’s birth and enlightenment, and in some traditions also his death. As the most important figure in Buddhism his life is celebrated and revered. Gathering to chant and pray are an important part of a traditional Wesak celebration. It’s not just about Buddha and other Ascended Masters, it’s about each of us alive now, encoded at a DNA level for enlightenment. At Wesak season the Masters interact with humanity and shower abundant blessings upon the Earth to help with ascension. It is a sacred time each year.
Template for enlightenment
Wesak is a rare opportunity to connect tangibly with enlightened Masters like Buddha, Christ, Kuan Yin, and Mary. These ascended beings long ago set the template for enlightenment. They interact with participants at Wesak season meditations, providing life-changing spiritual activations and potent insights about the path ahead. During several weeks each year, these Masters interact with humanity in a more tangible way. The connections you can make, and the blessings received, are palpable. Doors opening due to these interactions set in motion a series of positive opportunities in everyones life.
Shine a light
The ceremony of Wesak is held at the time of the full moon of May (which is actually the full moon of Scorpio). The energy of Scorpio helps us to let go and move on. Wesak – the Sun in Taurus Full Moon, is the most powerful Full Moon of the year. The Sun’s transit through Taurus exalts the Moon and Taurus is ruled by Venus, the spiritual ruler of Earth. Venus is identified with Mary, the World Mother. May, the month of Taurus, is the month of Mary. Venus appears in the west as the feathered serpent god Quetzalcoatl who brought enlightenment to the Mayans; in the east she is Maya, mother of the Buddha. The energy of Scorpio is a passionate, mysterious, but very sensitive sign, emotions are bubbling up for you to be released. This sign is all about feeling. And what you feel, you can heal. Use the light of the Full Moon to shine a light on these sensitive issues, be aware of them and forgive and let go. There is no need to dwell, just to see what needs healing and bring it to the light. Let us fill our hearts with compassion and kindness.
Wesak is a time to make space for silence, receive the love of Creation and acknowledge that you are also the Source of this love. Be love, embody love and celebrate life. It is our divine task here on Earth to anchor in the light, the love and to be of service by loving ourself deeply and sharing in this overflowing love and joy. Through the energy of love we change the field and inspire peace and oneness. Take this sacred Wesak time to consciously connect to the Ascended Masters and everyone on Earth and send them your blessings.
