Happy Full Moon in Leo! This Moon is also called the Snow Moon, but no snow here in The Netherlands, nothing at all this year only in certain areas of the country a little has fallen. Flowers are popping up everywhere and nature is awake. Every morning I see lots of rabbits running around and there are birds out that should’ve flown south for the Winter.

February is a transitional month as Winter is fighting to keep its position while Spring is eager to get back on the scene. The result leads to a tug-o-war which manifests in bizarre weather, unpredictable mood swings and radical shifts. But remember whenever you have chaos, you also have pure potential. This month’s Full Moon is a time to cast off that which is unwanted or unneeded. Imagine the snow and ice are your unwanted things and now imagine those things melting away beneath this powerful Moon and see your path cleared for you to step into the best version of you. This is the time to claim your value and announce your greatness. And this is where Leo steps in to help.

Leo empowers you to finally dare to ask for what you really want. Because this moon is strongly connected to planet Mars, you suddenly see crystal clear what you need to achieve your goals. This is the period to follow your passion and really go for what you want. You feel good and want to get started. Have you achieved something that you are proud of? Don’t hold back, but let EVERYONE hear about it. Be proud and declare it LOUD! ROAR!

When you haven’t got it all figured out, please don’t go searching for inspiration in others via social media and such, this will only frustrate you more. Now is a time to focus on yourself! And not this is not self-centered, this is crucial babes! Nothing is too crazy for this sign, so grab a notebook and write down all the ideas that come to mind. No matter how crazy they seem, use the energy of the full moon. The ingredients for growth and success are there, but you have to mix them in such a way that something tasty comes out. Ensure peace in your house and in your head and take the time to focus on what will really make you happy.

Enjoy!

Impact ouch!

I am keeping this short and sweet as my eyes and head can’t deal with the screen as I am suffering from a concussion. This happened 11 days ago, but the pain is not ebbing away as it should, so I am going back to the doctors tomorrow as I am a bit worried.

I did want to do this deck interview as I am now doing as many things as possible that don’t involve heavy thinking or screens, so perfect for divination, art, meditation, light yoga and journaling. But screens, books, light, sound all hurts my head, so I am doing a bit of a silent retreat and try to keep as calm as possible. With my thinking brain hurting, my intuition really kicks in, so with the Full Moon and all, the timing is kind of perfect, now only if the pain wasn’t so bad and allowed me to sleep as I am so tired. I will keep you up to date with how it goes.

The Dreamweaver Tarot Deck Interview

For now please meet The Dreamweaver Tarot.

I feel this deck has a lot of Leo energy, it likes to shine and sparkle and has clear imagery.

The path to me buying this deck was one of doubt. There was an instant love at first sight feeling when I first spotted this deck on House of Formlab’s Facebook page. I love Japan, I love traveling, I love polaroids and I love this style of dreamy pictures and the added tattoo like illustrations. It made me feel very nostalgic and it just screamed: Buy Me! So I told the seller I would buy a deck and collect it at her place in Amsterdam. Another plus; support local sellers! (and for me a bonus no shipping and no high custom charges which sometimes are as much as the deck itself!). So win-win. Yay!

And then after committing as I always do the doubt kicks in. You see I started searching for reviews and I found some negative ones also I found out that this is a first edition Kickstarter which may have some production flaws. It is a lot of money and it made me doubt my investment. But in the end (well after sleeping on it another night) I decided that these minor flaws will add to the charm and to take the plunge. I also believe in supporting independent makers and I will be one myself so hey, some compassion please. I love the DIY feel of independent decks and this idea of using polaroids is just brilliant! Now the flaws are minimal, the cutting may be a bit rough, but this will smooth out after time and I haven’t noticed any printing errors, so I am a happy camper!

Deck interview

Q1. Dear Dreamweaver Tarot, please introduce yourself – X of Blades
Now I must admit you may think this is a bit of an ominous card to introduce myself with as the Ten of Swords/Blades is a card of endings and our journey is just beginning. But I feel this is not a final ending, but rather a turning point at which we meet. I am a deck that can help you find alternatives that we never considered, but show you that there is a way. This card reminds us that we’re only stuck as long as we feel we are. That even in the darkest night of the soul, new things can come in. I was created with the intent to be experiential and my super velvety cards will link your physical body into this realm and allow your mind to sink deep. The holographic illustrations will help you connect to your subconscious. You can use me in the light of the Moon and the images will shine for you. Even if you have felt some pain or hurt, it is time to let that go and accept the state you are in, this way you can move forward to brighter pastures. This is a card and I am the deck of out with the old and in with the new (so perfect for this Snow Moon!!)

Q2. What are your strengths as a deck? – V of Blades
As my core energy is a cumulation of air (X of Blades), I am a good advisor in conflict situations (V of Blades). I will help you to choose your battles wisely and guide you to a victorious outcome or I can show you when it is time to throw in the towel and apologize.

Q3. What are your limitations as a deck? – X of Matches
Don’t overuse and overburden me. One issue at a time please. As I am a deck best handled in support of conflict situations, use me so sparingly. It is best if you look beyond the challenges, setbacks, disappointments and frustrations you tend to see so easily. As you reawaken your high minded inner child, you will refresh your daily life with a joyful purpose. You can use me to help you tap into childlike wonder, meditate with me and use me for reflection.

Q4. What can I learn from you? –The Moon
To be guided by your subconscious and intuition. To see through the deceit and illusion. I will tell you when it is time to stand your ground and when things are less clear and you need to seek further and deeper. I provide a feeling of nostalgia and remembrance. The holographic foil of my illustrations flicker with color, revealing parts of myself as a way to channel information.

Q5. What is the best way to work with you/connect with you? – The Lovers
As equals, in a balanced relationship. The choice is yours.

Q6. What is the potential outcome of our relationship? – VII of Stones
Long term gains and sustainable results, but you have to persevere and be patient as our relationship is more aimed at longterm success. You can be assured that your purchase was wise and all that is required now is persistence, elbow grease, and a little bit of faith. Stop doubting me and all will be well.

Looking forward to our partnership and the sights you will show me. Thank you!

Have a wonderful week sweeties!
