Dear friend,

Because a lot of us are bound to our houses at the moment and we can’t physically celebrate Ostara with other people, I just decided to do a live YouTube celebration.

Ostara, also called the Spring Equinox, is the time of year when we celebrate the return of light and fertility: the life energy. A time to get rid of the old and start new things. It is the time when life emerges from the earth and winter is left behind. From this day on, the light will increase in strength. Now this is just what we need to focus on at this time, don’t you think?

Join me in strengthening our sense of power to thrive, discovering our potential, inspiration for new beginnings and growth. Let’s expand beyond our confinement and celebrate life! Spring is a period of hope, renewal and longing, longing for the bloom of what is now being activated.

Time for a clean slate, a fresh start and rebalancing ourselves.
I am delighted to welcome you to celebrate this holiday together!

These are some practical matters for preparation

Think about one (or some) trait (s) / quality (s) that you want to grow in yourself and embody. It can a talent that you are already aware of, but that is still in the early stages of germination, or a quality that you can recognize in yourself but would like to develop more. Take the time you need for this. Now let an animal arise in you, or look specifically for it to embody these qualities. Your feeling will tell you that you have found the animal you need right now. Now find an image of this animal and bring it with you to the live YouTube session.

Where will we meet and when:

Saturday March 21st at 3 pm Dutch time. (GMT +1)

On my YouTube Channel https://www.youtube.com/user/CharissaG/
Now I haven’t updated my channel for a long time and this time at home gives me time to revamp my channel and post more yoga and tarot videos and whatever else I would like to share with you.

To bring to the celebration:

– curiosity, openness and good cheer

– your animal image
– a hard boiled egg (of course not if you are vegan or allergic, I’m afraid I have no replacement for eggs for this part of the celebration)
– foodcolor, red, for instance beetjuice.
– crayon – color doesn’t matter
– yoga mat or towel so you can lie on the mat for a brief period of time
– pen and paper
– glue
– scissors
– old magazines you can cut up
– card stock or thick paper 5 x 8 inch or 12,7 x 20,4 cm
Hope to see you on Saturday!
