Hello,

How are you?

The weather is getting colder and the leaves are coloring and falling from the trees, the Sun is setting and lower on the horizon. Everything turns inwards, which is a natural movement, the sap in trees already makes a start in the month of August. Saying goodbye to the warm season, warmth and joy brings sadness and a sense of loss. There is nothing wrong with that, tears help to dispose of waste.

Grief and sadness are linked to autumn. When emotions of grief are brought out and processed, they strengthen your health. If these emotions are suppressed and ignored for a longer period of time, the lung function contracts, inwards. Breathing becomes shallower and no longer spreads throughout the body. Problems with the lungs and intestines are attributed to unresolved grief and sadness. I have been having issues with my lungs and intestines and this is a clear sign I am out of balance. Also a lot of grief is surfacing. I feel so sad and so so tired. I am having a hard time finding my place in this new abnormal.

The world has gone mad. The New Moon in Libra past Friday is showing us where our life is out of balance and well we can see this everywhere, in nature and in our institutions. Corruption has always existed, but the world is now rotten to the core, it is so deep, it can’t even be hidden anymore, we are knee-deep in stench and we are blaming each other. Time to look in the mirror!  What we process internally is shown right back at us by the world around us. We created this mess and we can get ourselves out of it. If we want to tip the scales of Justice back into balance, we need to commit and stand strong in order to heal ourselves. Stop blaming and shaming and start taking a deep, hard look at yourself, start there. Be open to other points of view and don’t let stubborn- and righteousness hurt us all. We need to come together, together in harmony (and I don’t mean group think or cultish behavior – we can agree to disagree) we are strong. Relationships and interaction is a Libra trait and so is justice and fairness. Be fair, be kind, but don’t be a wimp.

This New Moon brings opportunities to choose how we want the future to go, especially if we want to create a more peaceful. It reminds us what to do, please listen. Stop your bickering and distractions and communicate openly and respectfully. Meet each other. Come together. Our efforts and willingness to take responsibility for our attitudes and behaviors, are what help to create peace. We are not an island, we are all connected and we are re-minded of that now more than ever. It is time. Tick tock.

I did a quick tarot reading for my self on the New Moon, I am sharing it here for your inspiration.

I used the brand new Keymaster Tarot which I backed on Kickstarter.

  1. How will this new Moon cycle affect me? – Ace of this is the start of something (emotionally) good. Now this is the start and starts can be painful, change is not always easy. But know the result will be emotionally healing.
  2. What should I focus on? – Nine of ♣ is supposedly the worst card in the deck as it represents a change for the worse. So I guess this card asks me to prepare for the worst. I feel this card is asking me to be courageous and persist and to not give up facing constant disappointment. That something has to die in order for something new to grow. Stand strong and don’t waver from my path. Don’t let myself get down.
  3. What should I let go? – Eight of   I should let go of good news, now I am at the moment hoping for good news concerning my job, perhaps this card is asking me to let go of this and start focusing on things I have some control over. Is this the bad news the 2nd card is referring to?
  4. What am I making room for?- The Fool and yes here it is, new beginnings and taking a leap of faith with something new.
  5. What step can I take to get closer to my life path/purpose? – The Hierophant shows me to strengthen and deepen my spiritual practice and explore my heritage. And work toward taking on the role of mentor to others. Learn how to share my knowledge in a structured way which respects traditions. This winter is time to delve deep and emerge on the other side, ready to step up my game and share with the world.

Thank you for visiting, take care and take time to grief, rest and heal this Fall.
